Home Kitchen - Fruit Tarts

These (i.e., the tarts) are not my creations. 

The tarts were actually made by Lynn whereas my contribution lies strictly behind the camera shooting them for her blog. 

I felt compelled to show these because I am rather pleased with the shots. 

I opted for dark, mysterious look with reflections for a change. 

This is a departure from the usual bright, clean crisp looks that most companies use for food advertising. 

Also, I was trying to photograph indoors and at night with normal residential artificial lighting instead of always having to rely on natural sunlight (because I lack specialised equipment like light-boxes, backdrops, etc).

The tarts were shot placed on my polished black granite bar counter-top while Lynn helpfully held a piece of black cardboard in the background.
