And so passes the Big-hearted, Bounteous, Benevolent Bloke;
into a Bogus, Bumptious, Big-headed Bum who is too big for his britches.

It is no wonder then that nothing changes despite meetings, memorandums and promises when those in office hold themselves above everything else.

Such ego trips are best reserved for emperors who enjoy invisible new clothes.

Imagine this:
You have a boss. He has absolute and unchecked powers.
He is supposed to possess the wisdom to lead and guide you.
Yet, the best appraisals and opportunities are only given to those who are callow and obsequious, who fawn and sing his praises.
That, is why religions do not appeal to me.
